I’ll review a picture book manuscript and provide in-line notes and an editorial letter with feedback. My critique style is direct and encouraging. I provide honest feedback by highlighting areas for improvement and reinforcing what works well.

Shelf Ready Picture Book Review

This service is ideal for picture book writers with several works-in-progress who need help prioritizing which manuscripts to revise and submit for representation. I’ll review each manuscript, identify a handful of strengths and shortcomings for each piece, and organize them within your “classroom” to help you prioritize your efforts: The Cubby (red), The Bin (yellow), and The Bookshelf (green).

Fee: $15 each, with a five manuscript minimum
Manuscript length: up to 1,000 words
